According to a Citi research report, KB LAMINATES (01888.HK)'s 1H25 net profit grew by 28% to HKD933 million, aligning with the broker's forecast of HKD934 million.

The company's core earnings, however, increased by only 10% YoY to HKD860 million due to costs rising faster than average selling prices, falling shy of expectations.

Citi raised its target price for KB LAMINATES from HKD14 to HKD20.5, reflecting the company's anticipated entry into Nvidia (NVDA.US)'s supply chain by the end of 2025.

The broker also adjusted its stock preference within the Chinese copper-clad laminate (CCL) supply chain into KB LAMINATES > SYTECH (600183.SH) > KINGBOARD HLDG (00148.HK). Its previous top pick was SYTECH.
